The Planning and Development department consists of the Planning; Statutory Consents and Compliance (SC&C); and Major Projects Teams.
The Planning team works with central and regional government, riparian local authorities, the commercial sector and a wide range of other stakeholders to promote the Authority and the Port of London’s planning agenda for the River Thames, including the Thames Vision 2050. It is also leading the PLA’s Masterplanning work for the River which seeks to match the Thames Vision actions and goals to wider planning and other policy guidance.
